3D Modelling and 2D CAD Draughting
Using 3D CAD software we provide 3D modelling and 2D draughting services in order to bring your creation to reality.
Our designer has experience in multiple CAD systems (Freecad, Solidworks, Pro Engineer/Creo, Catia V5, Siemens NX) and have a wealth of knowledge in CAD modelling and draughting. We have worked with high profile clients where industry standards for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing are used. With experience with manufacturing we also are able to provide drawings to which can be taken straight to manufacturing.
If required we can provide tolerance stackup calculations to ensure that the assembly will fit as intended (if decided to utilise GD&T). At WJWL Engineering our aim is to provide sensible tolerancing to components such that your requirements are met at the lowest manufacturing costs.
For 3D modelling we will provide a STEP/STL/Parasolid version (as chosen by the customer) in addition to the native CAD file used so that the customer can easily send to the manufacturer. For 2D drawings we will provide a PDF file in addition to the native CAD files and if requested can also provide a DXF/DWG file for those manufacturers who require this.
